All rights not expressly granted to you in these General Terms of Use or any Service Terms are retained by Amazon or its licensors, suppliers, publishers, rights holders or other service providers. Notification form and procedure for reporting intellectual property rights infringements

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can fill out and submit the notification form. We respond promptly to rights holders and their representatives who report alleged infringements of their rights to us through a notification form. Upon receipt of a notification form, we may take various steps, including removing the information or an item, without this implying an admission of liability on our part and without prejudice to any of our other rights, remedies or defences, which we expressly reserve. In addition, by submitting a notification form, you grant Amazon the right to use, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and publish anywhere in the world, through any means of communication, the content of the notification form. This includes the right to send the notification form to the parties involved in the preparation of the content that is found to be illegal. You agree to hold Amazon harmless from all actions brought by a third party against Amazon, arising out of, or in connection with, the completion and submission of a notification form.


IMPORTANT: providing false, misleading or inaccurate information on the notification form to Amazon may result in liability that is criminally and/or civilly sanctioned by applicable laws. For more information, we recommend that you contact a trusted legal adviser.

These additional terms apply to any software (including any updates to the software and any related documentation) that we make available to you from time to time for your use in connection with Amazon Services (the “Amazon Software”):

1. Use of the Amazon Software. You may use Amazon Software solely for the purposes of using the Amazon Services in accordance with what has been set out by Amazon, by these additional terms and by the Service Terms. You may not incorporate part of the Amazon Software into your own programs or compile any portion of it in combination with your own programs, transfer it for use with another service, or sell, rent, lease, lend, loan, distribute or sub-license the Amazon Software or otherwise assign any rights to the Amazon Software in whole or in part. You may not use the Amazon Software for any illegal purpose. We may cease providing any Amazon Software and we may terminate your right to use any Amazon Software at any time. Your right to use the Amazon Software will automatically terminate without notice from us if you fail to comply with any of these additional Amazon Software terms, the General Terms of Use or the Service Terms. Additional third party terms contained within or distributed with certain Amazon Software that are specifically identified in related documentation may apply to that Amazon Software (or software incorporated within the Amazon Software) and will govern the use of such software in the event of a conflict with the General Terms of Use. All software used in any Amazon Service is the property of Amazon or its software suppliers and protected by Luxembourg and international copyright laws.

2. Use of third-party services. When you use the Amazon Software, you may also be using services provided by third parties, such as a wireless carrier or a mobile platform provider. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to the separate policies, terms of use and fees of these third parties.

3. No reverse engineering. You may not, and you will not encourage, assist or authorise any other person to copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, or otherwise tamper with, the Amazon Software, whether in whole or in part, or create any derivative works from or of the Amazon Software.

4. Updates. In order to keep the Amazon Software up to date, we may offer automatic or manual updates at any time and without notice.
