The individual selling plan costs €0.99 per unit sold, while the Professional selling plan costs €39 (excluding VAT) per month, regardless of the number of product units sold.

Referral fees

Amazon charges a referral fee on each item sold. The amount varies depending on the product group. Most of the fees per product group are between 8% and 15%.

Fulfilment fees

The cost for shipping your orders varies depending on how your orders are fulfilled: by you or through Fulfilment by Amazon.

Other costs

When you set up a seller account, you are required to provide a credit card number and a bank account. Amazon will charge your credit card to cover your fees, and proceeds from any sales will be deposited into your bank account.

Referral fees

For each item sold, sellers pay Amazon a percentage of the total price (which includes the item price, shipping costs, and any gift-wrap charges) or a minimum amount, whichever is greater. Fees per category are in addition to selling plan fees.

Selling partners pay a per-category fee on each item sold. For all products, Amazon deducts the percentage applicable to the category fee, calculated on the total sales price. The total sales price is the total amount paid by the buyer, including the item price and any shipping or gift wrap costs.

Fulfilment fees vary depending on whether you choose to ship your products yourself instead of using Fulfilment by Amazon to manage your logistics and thus offer Prime shipping for your products.

Inventory storage fees are charged monthly depending on the average daily volume (measured in cubic metres) of the space your inventory occupies in Amazon fulfilment centres. Volume is calculated based on the size of the unit, properly packaged and ready to ship.

When you fulfil orders yourself, Amazon charges shipping fees based on the product group and the shipping service selected by the buyer and then transfers the amount to you in the form of a shipping credit.
Sellers on a Professional selling plan set their own shipping rates (with the exception of products that fall under the Books, Music, Videos, and DVD category). Please refer to the credit table below. When a customer buys your product, you receive a credit from Amazon that equates to the shipping fee. Keep in mind that the category fee is calculated based on the total sales price, which includes the price of the item, shipping cost and any gift wrap costs.
Sellers on an Individual selling plan use the shipping fees set by Amazon on all products. Sellers enrolled in an individual selling plan must ship orders at the established fees even if the shipping credit is less than the total shipping costs, so it's important to calculate the price of items so as to ensure that you make a profit.

Amazon charges customers the following shipping fees for products in the Books, Music, Video, and DVDs categories. Sellers receive the same amount in the form of a shipping credit. This applies to sellers on a Professional or Individual selling plan.

Additional selling fees

Inventory fees
If you store inventory in an Amazon fulfilment centre—available to selling partners who use Fulfilment by Amazon or Multi-Channel Fulfilment—in addition to your monthly inventory storage fees, you may be charged other fees, such as long-term storage fees, overage fees, and removal order fees.
High-volume listing fees
The high-volume listing fee only applies if you exceed 2 million SKUs in a given month and is calculated on the highest number of SKUs over 2 million at any time during that particular month. For each active non-media SKU over 2 million, a fee of €0.0004 per SKU will apply.
Refund processing fee
If you refund a customer for an order for which you have already received payment, Amazon will refund you the amount of the category fee you paid for the item(s), minus the applicable category fee, which is less than €5.00 or 20% of the applicable category fee.

For example, if you reimburse a customer for the €10.00 total sales price of an item in a category with a 15% category fee, the refund processing fee will be €0.30 (€10.00 x 15% category fee = €1.50).
