Who can sell on Handmade?
The Handmade store is available to artisans who want to sell their handmade products to millions of Amazon customers around the world. Amazon uses an application process to add new artisans to the Handmade product group, to ensure that customers are able to buy with confidence.
How do the fees work?
Joining Handmade, creating your own store and listing products is free of charge. When you make a sale, Handmade deducts a 12% referral fee.

When you sign up, you'll sign up with a Professional selling plan that provides you with Handmade-specific tools and support to grow your business. While the Professional selling plan costs €39 a month for an Amazon selling partner, this monthly fee is waived for Handmade artisans.
What do I need to do to create a Handmade store?
First you need to create a seller account on Amazon. To get started, visit Start selling on Amazon. After completing the registration, you can apply to sell on Amazon Handmade. We'll ask you for more information about your products and business to ensure the integrity of the Handmade store. Once approved, resources will be provided so that you can create your first Handmade listing and manage your business.
What product groups are available on Handmade?
Handmade is open to artisans who make products for the following product groups: Accessories, Artworks, Baby Products, Beauty and Personal Care, Clothing, Shoes and Bags, Home, Outdoor and Home Care, Jewellery and Watches, Kitchen and Dining, Pet Supplies, Sporting Goods, Stationery and Party Supplies, Toys and Games. If your product group isn't listed, it means that your items can't be sold in the Handmade store. The most popular product groups currently unavailable include Digital or Downloadable Products, Food Products and Electronics. You may want to sign up to sell and list your products in another Amazon store, or you can come back later to see if your product group becomes available on Handmade.
What if I already sell in an online Amazon store?
No problem! After submitting your application, you can also sell your products on Amazon Handmade.
Do I need to apply again if I am already selling with Handmade in another country?
If you already sell with Handmade on Amazon.it, you can also sell on all five European stores (Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it and Amazon.es) without having to apply again. Log in to Seller Central and choose the desired country from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. You can also sign up to sell in our three North American stores (Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.com.mx). Please note that it is your responsibility to comply with all the rules and regulations in force in each country where you do business.
I have already applied. What is the status of my application?
You can check your application status using your email and confirmation code.
What happens if I have created an Individual seller account?
If the account you created is Individual, you'll need to switch to a Professional seller account after approval. This will allow you to take advantage of all the features available to Amazon sellers to help grow their business. To switch from an Individual selling plan to a Professional selling plan:
  1. Go to Settings and select Account information.
  2. On the Seller account information page, go to the Your services section and click Manage.
  3. In the Selling on Amazon row, under You are signed up for, click Upgrade.
  4. 4. Carefully read the terms on the next page, and then click Proceed to upgrade.
What should I do if I have created a Professional seller account and am being charged the monthly fee?
If you haven't applied to sell on Handmade, click here to get started. Once you are approved to sell on Handmade, you can contact the Handmade support team and ask for a refund by clicking here or going to 'Get support' and selecting 'Selling on Handmade'.
