This Sunday's deal went really well. We were expecting an increase, but not by this much. In the future, we'll consider Today's Deals in our inventory planning.

How to get the most out of your deals

Step 1

Use recommended ASINs
Recommendations are updated weekly. Don't wait to take action if you see a suitable product.

Step 2

Use high-quality images for your deals
Make sure that the image doesn't include text, logos or watermarks that aren't part of the product itself. If a promotion does not meet Amazon's product image requirements or is not representative of the products being promoted, the promotion may be cancelled.

Step 3

Add Enhanced Brand Content
Brand owners can add Enhanced Brand Content (A+ Content) to their listings to improve the product description and to help customers make a purchase decision.

Step 4

Combine your deal with a Sponsored Products campaign
The Sponsored Products Campaign is a self-service advertising programme where you can quickly create cost-per-click ads to improve visibility.

Step 5

Monitor the status of your deal
Keep regular track of your deal's status before it appears on the Deals Dashboard, and avoid making changes to the ASINs included in the deal during this time.

FAQ

Get answers to frequently asked questions about Amazon deals and vouchers.
Why should I run deals?
Promoting a product with a Lightning Deal or a 7-day Deal can help you increase sales and can be an effective way to reduce your inventory.
How do I become eligible to run deals?
At present, only sellers with a Professional selling plan are able to run deals. In addition, your products must meet certain criteria. A full list can be found on the Seller Central Help Pages.
Do I have to pay a fee for running Lightning Deals or 7-day Deals?
You will be charged a fee for each Lightning Deal or 7-day Deal that is submitted and successfully run. The fee is displayed as part of the promotion creation workflow when you select the schedule for the deal. The fee might change depending on the date on which your deal runs.
How do I create Lightning Deals and 7-day Deals?
Log in to Seller Central. Click Advertising and select Deals. Click Create a new deal, select the products that you want to include in the deal and continue with the setup to schedule the deal.
Can I cancel a deal after it has been submitted?
You can cancel a proposed deal at any time. However, we recommend that you cancel your deal at least 25 hours before its scheduled start time to avoid paying a fee and to avoid being banned from creating deals in the future.
Where can I track the progress of my deal?
The overall performance of your 7-day Deals and Lightning Deals can be found on the deals page in Seller Central.
How much does a voucher cost?
Every time that a customer redeems one of your vouchers, you'll be charged a redemption fee. You can find the exact fee when setting up your voucher in Seller Central.

Customers can find vouchers on the Voucher home page, in search results, on product detail pages, on the deal listings page and in their baskets.
Where can I track my voucher's progress?
