In 2022, selling partners enrolled in Strategic Account Services grew 20%* more than unsupported selling partners in Europe.

The fee table shows the details of the costs for each plan. The fees for both plans have a maximum limit. The Essentials plan has a limit of €2500 per month and the Pro plan is limited to €5500 per month.

1. What is Strategic Account Services?
Strategic Account Services is a series of account management plans that offer selling partners strategic assistance and support to grow their business on Amazon through a Marketplace consultant. We recently changed the name of our Amazon Selling Partner 360 programme to Strategic Account Services (Pro plan).
2. What's the difference between the Essentials plan and the Pro plan?
Our plans are dedicated to your specific needs.
The Essentials plan is for small and medium-sized enterprises looking for more lightweight and streamlined support service through a Marketplace consultant who provides support on the business components of the Amazon marketplace. In the business reviews that take place every two months, the Marketplace consultant will review with you the business's performance and progress based on specific factors and will inform you about the relevant topics of the month. Outside of the days dedicated to business reviews, the Marketplace consultant will still be contactable by e-mail.

The Pro plan is our broadest end-to-end service and offers a higher level of assistance provided by a dedicated Marketplace consultant, including holistic consulting, access to analysis and reports, monthly business reviews, and support for global expansion based on your needs. You will also be able to access the assistance of an expert dedicated to troubleshooting operational issues. Outside of the days dedicated to business reviews, the Marketplace consultant will still be contactable by phone or e-mail.
3. What are the eligibility requirements for the plans?
We review every request before accepting sellers into Strategic Account Services plans. We take into account factors such as business maturity and revenue on Amazon. If your application is not approved initially, you may become eligible in the future as you develop your journey on Amazon.
4. Can Strategic Account Services help me if I'm not a brand owner?
Yes, the plans are designed to assist both brand owners and retailers with business in Amazon stores. The Marketplace consultant will help you to identify and prioritise strategic initiatives based on your business needs.
5. Does Strategic Account Services include my UK and EU accounts?
Yes, our plans offer support from a Marketplace consultant for expansion and growth in UK and EU stores.
6. How will I be charged if I sell in more than one UK/EU marketplace?
If you have a unified account, your flat rate will only be charged once, no matter how many EU/UK stores you sell in. If you have a separate account for each store, you can choose the ones that will be supported by the programme and you will be charged separately for the selected accounts.
7. Will Strategic Account Services support my growth outside the UK and the EU?
Amazon operates in different geographical areas with distributed account management structures to support sales in various countries. If you have chosen the Pro plan and meet the eligibility criteria, your Marketplace consultant will be able to inform you of new opportunities and connect you with other teams that can support your expansion outside the UK and the EU, working closely with the Global Selling team. Once the expansion is complete, you'll need to work with the account managers and enrol in local selling partner programmes (where available) in their respective geographical areas to expand your business. Separate fees may apply in connection with participation in selling partner programmes in other geographical areas.
Support for expansion outside the EU and the UK does not apply to the Essentials plan.
8. I have more than one seller account. Can I work with only one Marketplace consultant to assist me on all accounts?
Selling partners must enrol each account separately in Strategic Account Services plans. Depending on the availability of Marketplace advisors, you may or may not be able to collaborate with a single consultant for all your accounts. We will decide together with you how best to manage your accounts.
9. I am already working with several Amazon account managers. Why should I pay for this service?
By signing up for Strategic Account Services, your Marketplace consultant will offer assistance on topics specific to your needs.

1) You will work together on your strategy for the entire duration (without time limits),

2) you will receive assistance on more than one programme or a particular feature,

3) you will proactively receive guidance in the event of growth opportunities for your account (e.g. marketing, catalogue optimisation, pricing, brand tools),

4) you will be able to access complete analyses and reports (unlimited only with the Pro plan) and

5) you will be informed about the most recent beta and pilot projects (only with the Pro plan). With the Pro plan, you'll also work with a dedicated troubleshooting expert to receive support on operational issues and with a dedicated Marketplace consultant who will assist you on strategic issues.
10. Does Strategic Account Services help Amazon selling partners grow their businesses?
We constantly monitor the growth and satisfaction of our selling partners in order to define our future plans. We invite you to read the case studies with the positive experiences of other selling partners available here.
11. I'm having trouble with my Amazon account. Can I get help before I sign up? 11. I am having problems with my Amazon Account; can I get support before I enrol?
You can use selling partner support regardless of enrolment in the programme, so we encourage you to access this service if necessary. Once enrolled in one of the plans, you'll have access to a Marketplace consultant to facilitate your growth. Specifically, the Pro plan also includes a premium service with a dedicated troubleshooting expert who can assist you with specific operational issues (see Question 12 for more details).
12. If I sign up for Strategic Account Services, can I expect different or preferential treatment with regard to Amazon's policies?
No. Amazon's policies are the same for all selling partners and apply in the same way, regardless of enrolment in our plans. All partners have access to selling partner support and receive the same assistance regardless of enrolment in one of the Strategic Account Services plans.
13. Can I switch between programmes to obtain different levels of support?
We'll recommend the plan that best suits your needs. If you are enrolled in a plan but need more support or want to work on more action points than those offered by your current plan, we may suggest that you switch to another plan if necessary. If you have any questions, ask your Marketplace consultant.
14. What can I expect in my first month of enrolling in the Essentials plan?
With the Essentials plan, your Marketplace consultant will contact you to schedule an introductory call and kick-off meeting, during which your main area of growth will be defined. Then we will guide you in your area of interest by offering you training and sharing analytical reports in order to develop strategic recommendations for your account with concrete action plans. We will continuously work together to improve your performance on Amazon and will check your progress with a business review every two months. In the meantime, the Marketplace consultant will be contactable by e-mail.
15. What can I expect in my first month of enrolling in the Pro plan?
With the Pro plan, your Marketplace consultant will call you to set up a welcome meeting. At this meeting, you will introduce yourself and you will also meet our expert dedicated to troubleshooting operational problems. You will receive a welcome pack with key information, webinars and programme guides. During the second week, we'll evaluate how your Amazon account is currently performing and determine priority areas for upcoming months. We will then deepen your areas of interest by sharing analytical reports and developing strategic recommendations for your account with concrete action plan points. We will continuously work together to improve your performance on Amazon and will check your progress with a monthly business review. In the meantime, the Marketplace consultant will be contactable by phone or e-mail.

16. With both plans, can the Marketplace consultant help me resolve existing operational issues?
The goal of the Marketplace consultant is to provide you with strategic support and not to assist you with operational issues. With the Pro plan, in addition to the Marketplace consultant, you'll have a dedicated troubleshooting expert who can assist you with operational issues.
17. Can the Marketplace consultant provide help with my Vendor Central account?
No, the scope of the plans only includes your Seller Account.
18. Are Marketplace Consultants Amazon employees?
Yes, all Marketplace Consultants are Amazon employees.
19. What training do Marketplace consultants receive to support selling partners as part of Strategic Account Services?
All of our Marketplace consultants receive in-depth training and have access to teams of internal experts to better assist selling partners enrolled in Strategic Account Services. Relevant topics include logistics and inventory management, selection and growth of conversions, merchandising and advertising, and many others. In addition, our consultants will thoroughly analyse your account to find the strategy that best suits your specific business needs.
20. How is the Marketplace consultant assigned to my account chosen?
Selling partners cannot choose their Marketplace consultant. However, advisors will be assigned to partners once their portfolios have been reviewed. We can ensure that all Marketplace consultants are trained to the same high standards and that they have a limited partner portfolio to ensure that they provide consistently outstanding service.
21. Will I have just one person who will remain my Marketplace consultant for the entire duration of my enrolment in the plan?
We can't guarantee that your Marketplace consultant won't change, but whenever possible we try to offer partners continuity when it comes to their consultant.
22. What happens if I'm not happy with the level of service?
The satisfaction of our selling partners is our number one objective. Every three months, you'll receive a satisfaction survey where you can report any issues. The results are carefully reviewed by the plan managers to ensure that the service provided is of the highest level. You can also request a call with a manager at any time to discuss any issues in detail and get a solution.
23. Can I meet my Marketplace consultant in person?
If you both agree, you and your consultant can meet in person to review your business plans and agree on actions for the upcoming months, for example at one of our locations.
Promotions, merchandising and programme opportunities
24. What type of marketing assistance (promotions) will I receive?
Your Marketplace consultant can assist your account on the types of Amazon deals that exist, including vouchers, lightning deals, top deals and deals of the day. Deals are not guaranteed as part of the Strategic Account Services subscription as some types of deals may include fees that are still applicable. Signing up for Strategic Account Services does not include free or discounted promotions.
25. Can my Marketplace consultant help me create deals?
Yes, the consultant can explain the various types of deals available and help you to set them up. In some cases, depending on your eligibility, the Marketplace consultant may set up a deal of the day on your behalf. Your consultant can also help you develop an offer strategy based on your business objectives and can provide strategic support to increase the chances of the offer being approved.
26. What insights will be included in the reports I receive?
Depending on your needs, we offer different analyses and personalised reports with both the Essentials plan and the Pro plan. The reports relate to catalogue optimisation, product selection and expansion, advertising and promotions, logistics management, brand management and sustainability.
Costs and duration of plans
27. When will I be charged for the cost of the programme?
The charge is made in the first five days of the month. The monthly costs are calculated from the previous month's revenue (based on the previous month's gross sales) in Amazon stores in the UK and the EU. Monthly rates are net of applicable taxes and are non-refundable.
28. How are the costs paid?
Commissions are paid through your account balance. If the balance is insufficient to cover the monthly bill, the rest of the cost will be charged to the credit card on file.
29. Can I pay less and access fewer services?
Both Strategic Account Services plans are pre-configured packages and the services cannot be separated at present.
30. How long does a plan last?
Selling partners enrolled in Strategic Account Services require a minimum commitment of six months. At the end of these six months, you can end your subscription with a minimum notice of 30 days. Amazon reserves the right to terminate the service at any time. There is no maximum duration.
