What is Click & Collect in Store?

Click & Collect in Store is a new programme that allows selling partners who have a physical shop or warehouse to offer customers the opportunity to buy online through Amazon and pick up the items in-store on the same day. With this programme, you'll be able to reach new customers, increase in-store traffic and be more involved in the local community.

You can combine the benefits and traffic offered by Amazon with the uniqueness of your in-store experience by continuing to manage your listings, images and Click & Collect-enabled product details yourself. There are no additional costs.

What is Click & Collect in Store?
Click & Collect in Store is a new way to reach new customers, expand your involvement in the local community and increase in-store traffic by listing products in your Amazon store and having customers come directly to your shop to collect their purchase. As soon as an Amazon customer purchases a Click & Collect in Store item, you'll receive a notification via Seller Central or API, depending on your configuration, to alert your personnel to pick, check and put the product aside, creating a positive in-store pick-up experience for the buyer.
What happens after buyers place a Click & Collect in Store order and how will they know that it's ready for pick-up?
After placing Click & Collect in Store orders, buyers will receive a confirmation email containing standard order and store-specific information, including location and times, along with an estimated time when their order will be ready. Once the store confirms that the order is ready for collection, the customer will be notified by email. When buyers go to the pick-up location to pick up their orders, they just need to go to the counter, pick up their order and leave.

Buyers can check the progress of orders, find shop information, check delivery instructions and view the pick-up code via 'My orders' at any time. Although we aim to have buyers' orders ready as quickly as possible, we know that they may not be ready to pick them up immediately, which is why we guarantee buyers at least five days for collecting the product from the moment it is marked as available.
Which sellers are eligible to participate in Click & Collect in Store?
Click & Collect in Store is an order management option available to selected Amazon selling partners who have physical shops or warehouses. If you're interested, click on the enrolment request button below. The service is available for sellers of any size and for all types of products.
Is there a cost associated with Click & Collect in Store?
In-store pick-up is available at no additional cost.
I use an integration service provider to manage my e-commerce business. Can I participate in Amazon's Click & Collect in Store programme?
Yes. Selling partners can make use of Amazon's Click & Collect in Store orders when using an integration service provider. The APIs created for Amazon Click & Collect in Store are an extension of the APIs used by Amazon's selling partners and are easily accessible by them and by integration service providers to automate the exchange of data with Amazon. However, sellers must commit to complying with and maintaining performance guidelines (for example, the percentage of orders ready for pick-up, the percentage of cancellations initiated by the seller, the percentage of in-store cancellations) to participate and remain eligible for the programme. The API documentation will be made available to sellers after they submit a request using the request button below.
Do I need new complex technologies to participate in Click & Collect in Store?
No. There are two ways to participate in Click & Collect in Store: through the direct integration of an API or through third-party integration service providers, ChannelAdvisor and Sellercloud (or with other integration service providers coming in 2022). Through these APIs, you can manage store configuration, store-level inventory and order status updates (ready for pick-up and collected). In the future, you'll be able to manage the entire in-store experience through Seller Central from any computer, even using a 1x1 interface or bulk feeds. If direct API integration doesn't meet your needs and you don't want to wait for Click & Collect in Store to be enabled in Seller Central, you can choose a ChannelAdvisor or Sellercloud web portal to manage your Click & Collect in Store business. What should change in my Amazon store when I introduce Click & Collect in Store?
With Click & Collect in Store, buyers can now shop in all their favourite neighbourhood shops, purchase products available for pick-up in-store and have the products ready for pick-up that same day. Click & Collect in Store opens Amazon to local shops across the country.
